Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement secure Azure-based solutions in a government-aligned environment. You will oversee cloud-hosted apps, manage CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation with DevOps practices while ensuring high availability and reliability.

The role requires 4–7 years of cloud experience, strong Azure knowledge, ITIL familiarity, and hands-on with observability tools and container tech such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Good understanding of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM).
• Familiarity with ITIL service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Experience with observability tools and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure aligned with government policies and standards (e.g., IM8, Zero Trust).
• Oversee contractors managing application systems hosted in the Cloud to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Enable and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in collaboration with application teams, and drive automation to improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for proactive system management.
• Manage and resolve incidents, problems, and changes in ITIL, perform root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements; conduct change management to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. aligned with government policies and standards (e.g., IM8, Zero Trust)
• Oversee contractors managing application systems hosted in the Cloud to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability
• Enable and support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices in collaboration with application teams, and drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for proactive system management
• Manage and resolve incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements
• Conduct change management to support operations and ensure governance compliance

What we are looking for

• Min 4-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a good understanding of Azure services (e.g., Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity & Access Management).
• Familiarity with ITIL service management processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Experience with observability tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
