CHARTERHOUSE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to lead delivery, migration, and optimization of enterprise cloud environments. The role requires hands-on Azure engineering and the ability to implement cloud programs within established governance.
You will work on core Azure services, networking, identity, IaC, and automation, with after-hours cutovers as needed. Strong documentation and security mindset are essential.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support the delivery, migration, and optimisation of enterprise cloud environments. The successful candidate will have strong hands‑on Azure engineering experience, with proven ability to execute cloud implementations, remediation activities, and migration programs within structured enterprise environments.
This role is suited for an engineer who is comfortable working within established cloud architectures, standards, and governance frameworks while contributing directly to implementation, troubleshooting, automation, and operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and support Azure cloud infrastructure based on defined enterprise architecture and technical standards.
Execute cloud migration and remediation initiatives, including planning, implementation, testing, and production cutovers.
Configure and manage core Azure services across compute, storage, networking, security, and governance domains.
Build and maintain Azure networking components, including connectivity, routing, security controls, and private access solutions.
Support identity and access management implementation following security best practices and least privilege principles.
Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools and scripting frameworks.
Perform cloud migration activities using Azure migration, replication, and recovery tooling.
Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot operational issues, and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout implementation and operational activities.
Support scheduled after‑hours migration and cutover activities when required.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Azure engineering experience with proven delivery experience across cloud migration, implementation, or remediation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to execute solutions based on established cloud architecture, engineering standards, and formal change management processes.
Strong operational experience with core Azure services, including:

Hands‑on experience with Azure identity and security services, including:
Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation using:
Practical experience with Azure migration and recovery tooling, including:
Experience with Azure operational and monitoring tools, including:
Experience working in regulated environments with strong understanding of:
Financial services experience is advantageous.
Ability to work onsite in Singapore and support planned after‑hours migration and cutover activities.
Strong discipline in technical documentation, change management, and operational procedures.
Must be able to successfully complete required background screening and third‑party access requirements prior to engagement.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700).
