Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build secure, cloud-native solutions powering government digital initiatives in Singapore.

You will join the IT team to design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and governance across critical systems and services.

Expect hybrid work arrangements, exposure to IAM, monitoring, and CI/CD automation, with a competitive package including AWS options.

Job description

We're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build secure, cloud-native applications that power next-generation government digital initiatives.

You will be part of the IT team, working closely with the Applications team to design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting critical government systems and digital services.

What you'll do:

• Design and manage secure Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure aligned with government standards such as IM8 and Zero Trust
• Oversee cloud-hosted applications to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability
• Support CI/CD, DevOps, and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions, and manage incidents, problems, and changes using ITIL processes
• Ensure security, governance, and audit compliance, including conducting root cause analysis and preventive measures for recurring issues

Requirements

• Experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a good understanding of Azure services (e.g., Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity & Access Management).
• Familiarity with ITIL service management processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Experience with observability tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
