Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Security Team in Singapore. You will support Cloud Services and On-Premises infrastructure, ensure security configurations and compliance, and drive incident prevention and resilience across multi-cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP, Linux, and automation scripting. We value rapid learning, teamwork, and a proactive approach in safeguarding our users and systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with Linux and automation scripting is a plus.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Pro advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Cloud Services & On-Premises Datacenter, including provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Run regular backups and implement data protection, DR and failover procedures.
• Perform capacity planning and monitor systems and networks.
• Verify security configurations against reports to meet compliance.
• Support patching from vendors to keep systems secure.
• Assist with annual BCP/DR drills and ensure successful execution.
• Conduct Cloud health checks to maintain high availability.
• Identify improvements to infrastructure and security solutions.
• Design and implement security controls to meet business needs.
• Collaborate on infrastructure, network, and security projects.
• Act as escalation point for complex infra/security issues.
• Provide coverage outside office hours when needed.

Performs operational support on all Cloud Services & On-Premises Datacenter, including but not limited to provisioning, configuration, monitoring and troubleshoot

Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Responsible for capacity planning, system, and network monitoring

Verifies and rectifies system security configuration based on security reports for meeting compliance requirements

Provide support on patch installation from different vendors to ensure systems are secured

Provides support on annual BCP / DR drill to ensure the drill is completed successfully.

Conducts regular Cloud Services health check and monitoring to ensure critical facilities and responsible systems are working in optimum condition at high availability.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and identify improvements on existing infrastructure & security solutions

Responsible for the overall design and implementation of various security solutions to fulfill the business and security requirements

Participate in infrastructure, network, and security projects

Act as the escalation point for resolving complex issues on Infrastructure & security operations

Provide support during non-office hour whenever needed

Diploma holder or above in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines

Hands-on experience in administration & support multi-cloud platforms such as Azure / AWS / Google etc.

Experience in Linux solutions is a plus.

Skills in scripting / automation is a plus

Holder of security and infrastructure certifications such as Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solution Architect Pro, RHCSA, VMWARE VCP, CISSP and other relevant certifications will be an advantage

Strong time management, willing to learn and able to work independently

Candidate with less experience will also be considered for junior position
