Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to oversee multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenShift). The role emphasizes admin, troubleshooting, high availability, and security across Unix/Linux and Windows, with on‑call duties.

You will drive DR testing, incident RCA, and collaborate with platform teams to ensure reliable production services. A degree in IT/CS and hands‑on AWS/OpenShift/Kubernetes experience, plus scripting skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Strong hands‑on experience in AWS production support.
• Solid operational knowledge of OpenShift / Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux system administration.
• Experience in monitoring, alerting, and incident management ecosystems.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or Python (basic–intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS production environments with high availability and compliance.
• Perform incident management, RCA, and problem resolution for production issues.
• Monitor AWS resources using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third‑party tools.
• Operate and support AWS core services: EC2, EBS, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, VPC, Subnets, IAM, S3, RDS.
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide basic support for Azure components: Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Load Balancers.
• Manage OpenShift clusters, perform health checks, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues.
• Manage OpenShift RBAC and platform security policies.
