Job summary

UNITED OVERSEAS BANK LIMITED is seeking an experienced Cloud and OpenShift Specialist to manage and support AWS production environments and OpenShift clusters. You will oversee incident management, perform RCA, and optimize multi-cloud operations with Azure integration, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance across platforms.

The role requires strong scripting skills (Shell/Python) and hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in AWS production support.
Solid operational knowledge of OpenShift / Kubernetes.
Working knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure.
Good understanding of Windows and Linux system administration.
Experience in monitoring, alerting, and incident management ecosystems.
Scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or Python (basic-intermediate).

Responsibilities

Manage and support AWS production environments for high availability, reliability, and compliance.
Handle incident management, RCA, and problem resolution for production issues.
Monitor AWS resources using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools.
Operate and support AWS core services: EC2, EBS, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling; VPC, subnets, SGs, NACLs, IAM; S3, RDS (basic).
Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
Provide basic support for Azure components: VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Load Balancers.
Monitor Azure services using Azure Monitor and Alerts.
Support hybrid/multi-cloud integration and connectivity.
