Job summary

We Plus S.r.l. seeks Senior Consultants to support strategic and execution-focused engagements for banking and financial services clients. You will work with client stakeholders to understand challenges, structure problems, and deliver actionable recommendations.

The role involves leading workstreams, developing frameworks and executive-level materials, and coaching junior staff across regional and global teams. Experience in consulting and financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• 2 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within management consulting or financial services.
• Demonstrated consulting toolkit: structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, synthesis and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading client-facing projects and executive stakeholder management.
• Understanding of financial services and banking; experience in cards, payments, loyalty or digital services is advantageous.

⇒ Role Summary

We are looking for Senior / Client Consultants to support the delivery of strategic and execution-focused engagements for our banking and financial services clients.

⇒ Main Responsibilities

• Work with client stakeholders and client teams to understand business challenges, strategic priorities and desired outcomes.
• Structure ambiguous business problems into clear workstreams, hypotheses, analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesize findings and identify opportunities to improve client performance, portfolio growth and customer engagement.
• Develop consulting frameworks, business cases, operating models, customer propositions, product strategies, implementation roadmaps and measurable recommendations.
• Create compelling presentations, storylines and executive-ready materials that communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Facilitate or support client interviews, workshops, working sessions and governance discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Manage assigned workstreams and priorities across one or more engagements, maintaining quality, timelines and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate across functions such as sales, marketing, risk, product, data and innovation, and draw on client’s capabilities across local, regional and global teams.
• Apply knowledge of financial services trends, customer needs and commercial drivers to strengthen client recommendations.
• Contribute to proposal development, opportunity identification and broader client relationship development, with expectations increasing by seniority.
• Coach and support junior team members where relevant, and contribute to a collaborative, highperforming consulting culture.

Indicative Expectations by Experience

• Analyst: Support research, analysis, project coordination and development of client materials; take ownership of defined tasks and work products.
• Consultant: Own workstreams, manage day-to-day client interactions, structure analyses, develop recommendations and coordinate delivery across stakeholders.
• Senior Consultant: Lead engagements and senior client relationships, provide strategic direction and quality oversight, develop teams, shape proposals and support business development.

⇒ Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline; an MBA or
• relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous for more senior roles but not essential.
• 2 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within management consulting, financial services consulting, banking, payments or a related environment (multiple roles at different experience levels).
• Demonstrated consulting toolkit, including structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, synthesis, stakeholder management and clear communication; depth and independence expected will increase by experience level.
• Experience contributing to or leading client-facing projects; senior candidates should demonstrate engagement leadership, executive stakeholder management and team development experience.
• Understanding of financial services and banking; experience in cards, payments, loyalty, customer propositions, portfolio management or digital financial services is advantageous.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical insights, recommendations and implementation actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including development and presentation of senior management materials where appropriate to level.
• Effective project and priority management, with the ability to work across multiple workstreams in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools is an advantage.
