Job summary

Arup in Singapore seeks a Senior Civil & Structures Engineer to lead the structural design for MRT and major transport projects, from feasibility and concept development through detailed design, authority submissions and construction support, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers and drafters, coordinate with clients, architects, geotechnical, civil and MEP teams, and produce technical reports and project correspondence while

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Extensive experience delivering MRT, railway, or major transportation projects in Singapore, including underground structures.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ROBOT, SAFE).
• Knowledge of Singapore standards, Eurocodes and LTA submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of MRT and major transport projects, including underground structures.
• Prepare and approve structural calculations per Eurocodes, Singapore standards, and LTA.
• Mentor engineers and drafters, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, geotechnical, civil and MEP teams to resolve design challenges.
• Produce technical reports, authority submissions, and construction-stage support while managing risks.
