Job summary

MEINHARDT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead a team of resident technical offices on C&S inspections and contract administration. The role requires coordinating multiple contractors, approving programmes and drawings, and ensuring safety and compliance on site in Tengah.

The ideal candidate has a recognized Civil/Structural Engineering degree and extensive post-graduate supervision experience, with top-down basement and deep foundation exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Recognized Civil/Structural Engineering degree acceptable for PE Board registration in Singapore.
• Extensive site supervision experience on complex building projects.
• Familiar with Building Contract Act and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience with deep basement work and top-down construction is highly valued.
• Ability to start by March 2027 and work at Tengah area.

Responsibilities

• Overall leadership of resident technical offices or RTO for daily C&S inspection and approvals.
• Coordinate work among multiple contractors and monitor schedules.
• Approve inspection forms, overtime claims, and ensure safety and site security.
• Check drawings, materials, and that construction adheres to contract drawings.
• Administer project contracts, maintain site records and reporting.
