Job summary

YWL ENGINEERING PTE LTD, a civil and structural engineering firm, invites a Civil & Structural Engineer to join our bridge design team in Singapore. You will contribute to detailed design for buildings and civil infrastructures, and collaborate with QP, clients, and contractors to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural analysis, RC and steel detailing, and proficiency with SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, Adsec, SAFE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles including Eurocodes.
• Ability to prepare and interpret engineering calculations and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design/detailing.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, Adsec, SAFE.
• Familiarity with BIM and drafting software is a plus.
• Good communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken English; problem-solving mindset; reliable in meeting deadlines.

Job Summary

Join one of the region’s leading bridge design teams as a Civil & Structural Engineer. This role is suited for motivated engineering professionals who are passionate about structural design, technical problem-solving, and delivering safe, efficient solutions for building and civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures
• Execute of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to client' requirement
• Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design scheme for civil and structural works
• Coordinate with Authorities, Clients and Contractor

Skills & Competencies We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles, including familiarity with Eurocodes.
• Ability to prepare and interpret engineering calculations and structural drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structure design/detailing.

• Familiarity with BIM and drafting software will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage site issues independently.

Required Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably recognized by the Professional Engineers Board).
