Job summary

YWL ENGINEERING PTE LTD, a civil and structural engineering firm, invites a Civil & Structural Engineer to join our bridge design team in Singapore. You will contribute to detailed design for buildings and civil infrastructures, and collaborate with QP, clients, and contractors to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural analysis, RC and steel detailing, and proficiency with SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, Adsec, SAFE.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles including Eurocodes.
Ability to prepare and interpret engineering calculations and structural drawings.
Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design/detailing.
Proficiency with engineering software such as SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, Adsec, SAFE.
Familiarity with BIM and drafting software is a plus.
Good communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Strong written and spoken English; problem-solving mindset; reliable in meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures.
Execute civil and structural design, preparing calculations and reviewing drawings per client requirements.
Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design schemes for civil and structural works.
Coordinate with authorities, clients and contractors.
