Job summary

Brown Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a civil/structural engineer to coordinate and support design projects, liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure quality and compliance while fostering teamwork and achieving project goals.

You will prepare detailed design documents, maintain cross‑functional relationships, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive smooth project execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in civil or structural engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of computer applications relevant to engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare detailed design documentation for civil and structural engineering projects to meet project requirements.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external clients to facilitate project collaboration.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary consultants and appointed contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with local authorities to facilitate design approvals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support and coordinate office staff to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
• Follow established procedures and instructions from project leads to perform design tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to project quality system requirements as defined in the Project Quality Plan and promptly report any non-conformances to project leads.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to achieve project goals and resolve conflicts in a dynamic work environment.
• Utilize computer applications proficiently to support design and project documentation tasks.
