Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior BIM/CAD Designer to lead civil and structural model development across tender, design and construction phases in Singapore.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects and MEP disciplines, produce 3D BIM models and 2D drawings, and mentor junior staff while ensuring deliverables meet CAD/BIM standards and project schedules.

Strong coordination, attention to constructability and clash resolution are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience applying BIM to civil/structural projects.
• Mentor junior BIM/CAD designers and lead model development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Tender, Construction, Shop, As-Built and Coordination BIM models and drawings for Civil & Structural works.
• Verify and clarify structural engineering drawings.
• Produce structural plans, sections, details and reinforcement drawings where applicable.
• Update BIM models and drawings according to design revisions.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, subcontractors and Qualified Persons (QP).
• Produce accurate and constructible 3D structural BIM models.
• Produce 2D and 3D project deliverables according to project schedules.
• Assist with quantity take-offs from BIM models.
• Conduct site inspections related to structural design coordination.
• Coordinate Civil & Structural models with Architectural and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Produce coordinated drawings using Autodesk Navisworks.
• Recommend solutions for constructability and coordination issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision control.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with company CAD/BIM standards.
• Maintain BIM libraries and standard procedures.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and resolve multidisciplinary clashes.
• Collaborate with all project disciplines to ensure coordinated design delivery.
• Mentor junior BIM/CAD designers.
• Lead Civil & Structural BIM model development during tender, design and construction phases.
