Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to undertake road, sewerage, drainage and related utilities projects. You will design and liaise with clients and authorities, and coordinate with other design disciplines for submission.

The role requires a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (PEB Singapore recognised) with at least 5 years of design experience, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a PE Board Singapore-recognised university.
At least 5 years design experience in civil infrastructure or transportation planning.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Excellent technical and project management skills.
Proficient in MicroStation or AutoCAD; Bentley tools and transport modelling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of road work, Sewerage, permanent and temporary traffic, drainage and utilities
Familiar with the latest authorities’ design codes, specifications and requirements as well as submission procedures
Able to design and liaise with client and authorities on civil works
Able to liaise and coordinates with other design discipline/departments as well as managing sub consultants in preparation of drawing and reports for submission
Able to communicate with clients and approving agencies for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design intent and options and expediting approvals
