Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead planning and detailed design of infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will manage design packages, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure compliance with standards while mentoring junior staff.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5–8 years of relevant experience in transportation and infrastructure, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro. IPAG submissions are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore PE Board.
• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure and utility planning and design.
• Experience in major transportation, rail, road, infrastructure, or urban development projects.
• Practical experience with utility agency approval processes in Singapore.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, or similar tools.
• Experience with IPAG submissions and approval management is an advantage.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and detailed design of infrastructure and utilities for civil infrastructure projects.
• Support design development from feasibility and concept stages through detailed design and construction.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using industry-standard software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Manage assigned design packages and ensure timely delivery; monitor schedules and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
