Job summary

AECOM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead utilities corridor design and diversion schemes within large infrastructure projects in Singapore.

You will assess utility impacts, review survey data, and support from feasibility through construction, ensuring compliance with standards. The role requires 5–8 years in utility design, proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/ArcGIS Pro, and BIM coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of utility engineering and design experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience in transportation, rail, road, infrastructure, or urban development projects.
• Experience with utility agency approval processes in Singapore; IPAG submissions a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro or similar software.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and detailed design of utilities corridors and diversion schemes.
• Perform utility impact assessments and propose diversions or relocations.
• Review utility data and GPR findings.
• Support design development from feasibility to construction.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specs using standard software.
• Manage assigned design packages and monitor schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to align goals.
• Provide mentorship and foster knowledge sharing.
• Ensure designs comply with statutory requirements and safety standards.
• Review and approve engineering documents for accuracy.
