Job summary

Housing & Development Board is seeking an experienced Civil/Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver water sustainability and civil infrastructure projects across estates. You will coordinate design reviews, authority submissions, construction and handover, while driving innovation initiatives such as AI, automation and sustainable materials.

Qualifications

• Background in Civil and Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure engineering and project management
• Experience in drainage and water infrastructure, roads and driveways, geotechnical works, or working within existing developments is advantageous
• Experience or interest in R&D and innovation (automation, AI, low-embodied-carbon materials) is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify issues and follow through to resolution
• Strong communication and stakeholder/contractor management skills; proactive hands-on mindset

Responsibilities

• Manage water sustainability and civil infrastructure projects from design through handover, monitor progress and resolve site/technical issues
• Review designs, drawings and authority submissions for compliance
• Manage key project and contractual matters including progress claims, variations, outstanding works and close-out
• Support performance monitoring and post-implementation evaluation to improve specifications
• Initiate and manage R&D and innovation projects from proposal to test-bedding and practical implementation
• Explore AI, automation, robotics, low-embodied-carbon materials and sustainable infrastructure
• Collaborate with research institutions, industry partners and Town Councils to test-bed solutions and drive adoption
