Job summary

Capefront Asia Pacific is seeking a seasoned civil engineer to lead and manage our construction team on large-scale infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role focuses on daily site activities, project planning, and execution with emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors, and authorities; review method statements; plan manpower; monitor progress; and resolve site issues to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in LTA/MRT projects.
• At least 5 years of experience managing civil and infrastructure construction works for projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Site-based role offering hands-on exposure to major construction activities and project operations.
• 5.5-day work week, with a structured working environment to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction team, overseeing daily site activities, project planning, and execution.
• Plan, implement, and monitor work schedules in line with the master and detailed programmes.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Review and prepare method statements for client submission.
• Manage manpower planning and ensure effective allocation of resources for smooth site operations.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
• Identify and resolve site issues in coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Ensure smooth and timely execution of construction activities.
