Job summary

Sioux is seeking a Senior CI/CD Engineer based in Asia to accelerate our end-to-end pipelines for C#/.NET and C++ projects. You will focus on build performance and automated testing integration, working with development, verification, our test architect and IT-DevOps teams in Europe and Asia.

Today, a full pipeline runs around 200 jobs and 10,000+ tests in ~4 hours. Your goal is to cut time by ~50% in the first year while giving developers fast, reliable feedback on every merge request.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CI/CD, build engineering, or release automation for multi-repo C#/.NET and C++.
• Hands-on MSBuild and .NET Framework 4.x builds on Windows; C++ builds with MSBuild/CMake.
• Strong GitLab CI/CD experience: pipelines, DAGs, multi-projects, caching & artifacts.
• PowerShell and Python scripting for pipeline logic, build orchestration and log analysis.
• Experience splitting and parallelising long test suites and handling flaky tests.
• Fluent English for collaboration across regions.

Responsibilities

• Build Performance: profile and optimise MSBuild-based builds for C#/.NET and C++.
• Pipeline Design: design, standardise and maintain GitLab CI templates across repos.
• Test & Verification Integration: embed unit tests, static analysis and automated tests into CI.
• Pipeline Reliability & Metrics: monitor failures, reduce flakiness and track metrics.
• Pipeline Operations: act as first line for pipeline issues, diagnose, restart and escalate.
• Capacity Input: provide data-backed requirements for build runners and test envs.
• Artifact & Release Automation: automate versioning, packaging, staging and registry mgmt.
• Developer Workflow: advise on branching, MR verification gates and fast feedback.
