Caliber8 Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Chartering and New Business Development professional to lead vessel charter negotiations and market analysis in the drybulk segment. You will manage chartering activities, voyage planning, and project coordination, driving decarbonization initiatives and innovative business models.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of drybulk shipping experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Veson IMOS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3–5 years' experience in drybulk shipping, chartering and operations
• Experience with decarbonization projects is a plus

Responsabilités

• Negotiate and conclude time and voyage charter contracts with customers and shipowners.
• Prepare and implement arrangements for vessel clearance and vetting requirements.
• Conduct market research on freight rates, demand, supply, and competitors.
• Produce reports on the dry bulk market outlook for management.
• Assess charterers' creditworthiness to mitigate risks.
• Plan voyage schedules and optimize fleet utilization.
• Coordinate with operations for optimal stowage and cargo efficiency.
• Lead chartering projects to improve profitability.
• Execute FFA transactions to support stable profits.
