Job summary

Reach Community Services Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Therapy Assistant to support Therapists in delivering therapy services and to assist with daily operations and administration.

The role involves preparing clients, equipment and materials; monitoring vital signs; and helping implement individual and group therapy programmes. You will observe client progress, ensure infection control and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Healthcare Management or a related discipline is required.
• Certificate in Therapy Services and/or WSQ Certification in Therapy Support is an advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• An ability to communicate in a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Therapists in assessing clients' suitability for therapy.
• Prepare clients, equipment and materials for therapy sessions.
• Monitor and record clients' vital signs as instructed.
• Assist in implementing individual and group therapy programmes.
• Carry out therapy procedures under the guidance of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
• Observe and report clients' progress to Therapists.
• Maintain infection control, cleanliness and safety of therapy areas.
• Assist clients with toileting when required.
• Maintain client records, monitor attendance and conduct follow-up calls.
• Perform administrative duties, maintain inventories and update activity records.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
