Job summary

Ren Ci Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support therapists in assessments, interventions and patient care. You will guide patients and caregivers, lead group activities, and perform essential TA duties with safety and accuracy.

You will assist in data collection, support research activities, and contribute to quality improvement while maintaining professional ethics and teamwork. A compassionate, reliable team player is essential for holistic care.

Qualifications

• GCE O/N Level is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Certification in Therapy Assistant / Aide is an advantage but not essential.
• No professional registration or licensure required.
• Prior experience as a Therapy Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in assessments and interventions.
• Provide patient and caregiver guidance and support group activities.
• Perform basic TA duties including manual handling, mobility assistance, vital signs monitoring and safety compliance.
• Observe patient responses and report observations to therapists.
• Support caregiver training and community reintegration activities under supervision.
• Conduct prescribed outcome measures and lead group activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and incident reporting.
• Support research activities including patient recruitment and simple assessments.
• Provide guidance to learners and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Uphold professional ethics, accountability and boundaries.
• Assist with daily operations including equipment cleaning and inventory checks.
