Job summary

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in Singapore seeks a Programme Coordinator to assist the HOD, Clinician Leads and Programme Manager with operational, administrative and project management tasks across Orthopaedic Surgery Clinical Programmes.

You will support implementation, workflow establishment, care coordination and patient advocacy, while ensuring accurate documentation, data validation and timely audits. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of statistics.
  • Good communication skills both written and spoken.
  • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably from the healthcare related industry.
  • Ability to work independently and work as a team.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated.
  • Good interpersonal relations skills.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the HOD, Clinician Lead(s) and Programme Manager in providing operational, administrative and project management support to the assigned Orthopaedic Surgery Clinical Programmes.
  • To support the implementation, development, and management of the assigned clinical programmes.
  • To establish workflow and guidelines, and hospital policy document as necessary.
  • To coordinate care across the various care settings as a programme care coordinator, and act as patient advocate between patients, caregivers, and hospital (including Telephonic Follow-up Discharged Care).
  • To support the development and management of new initiatives or programme improvement projects that enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience.
  • To ensure all information are documented in hospital systems after each patient’s encounter for future audits.
  • To organise regular multidisciplinary team meeting on case discussion and ensure appropriate documentation.
  • To provide programme secretariat support and manage all programme documentation and meeting materials in hospital systems.
  • To support data management, data validation (including data analysis), and timely report submissions as assigned.
  • To assist and support the programme education and publicity events/ activities, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • To demonstrate good communication skills in patient care delivery.
  • To maintain good communication with work effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • To undertake any other duties as assigned.
