Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary School certification.
• Proficient in English and ideally a second language or local dialect.
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about elder care.
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily health and wellness checks and spot changes in mood or cognition.
• Assist with personal hygiene, mobility and transfers with dignity.
• Lead engaging activities tailored to seniors’ abilities, including dementia-friendly programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with infection control practices.
• Document observations and update care plans for personalised support.
• Administer first aid/CPR during emergencies (if certified).
• Guide junior staff and volunteers in care techniques and dementia management.
• Attend training to stay current with MOH standards and best practices.
