Job summary

Broadcom Singapore Pte Ltd, Broadcom Central Engineering, seeks a qualified professional to provide best-in-class development and support for CAD tool flows focused on advanced process nodes. The role is hands-on, engaging in day-to-day design/layout issues and building utilities to boost productivity.

You will work with Calibre DRC/LVS decks, CAD PDK environments, and EDA tools for circuit simulation and timing analysis, collaborating across teams to deliver robust CAD solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Solid programming skills are required.
• User-level familiarity with CAD tools.
• Experience across CAD support phases: evaluation, QA, testing, release, user support, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on daily support of design/layout issues and develop, maintain CAD utilities.
• Develop and maintain Calibre DRC/LVS decks for advanced nodes.
• Create and maintain CAD PDK environments and tailor layout tools.
• Provide EDA tool support and flows for circuit simulation, EMIR, Aging with industry tools.
• Support block-level place and route to gather PPA metrics.
