Job summary

QUICKSYNC PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Resident Technical Officer (C&S) to support its construction consultancy and site supervision services in Singapore.

You will supervise C&S works, review drawings and specifications, coordinate with contractors, and prepare technical reports under the direction of the QP and project consultants. The ideal candidate has a Civil & Structural Engineering degree or diploma, 5 years of relevant experience (3 on major projects such as HDB BTO, LTA

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years on major projects.
• C&S RTO accreditation through IES/ACES JAC is required.
• BCSS or relevant construction safety certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of C&S construction, drawings, specifications, site inspection and QA/QC practices.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect C&S construction works per drawings, specs and regulations.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, testing and construction quality.
• Identify discrepancies and report to the QP and project consultants.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements and highlight issues.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports, site records and other technical reports.
• Maintain inspection records and technical documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding works and corrective actions.
• Support the QP and project consultants in maintaining compliance.
• Perform day or night-shift site supervision and inspection duties, including weekends or public holidays.
