Job summary

Tangspac Professional Services is seeking a seasoned backend developer with at least 5 years of experience in payments systems to design and build robust backend services for international payment gateway integrations. The role involves working on Linux-based platforms (RHEL/AWS), implementing secure payment solutions and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong C++, Korn Shell scripting, and PostgreSQL skills, with familiarity with IBM MQ and Base24-eps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Min 5 years backend development experience in payments.
• Experience with Linux-based development on Open Systems (RHEL/AWS).
• Familiarity with IBM MQ and Base24-eps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and contribute to functional and technical designs.
• Develop backend systems for international payment gateway integrations (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI).
• Support migration of Base24-eps on Linux RHEL or Cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with QA, frontend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
• Work with vendors, payment schemes, and banks under guidance of technical leads.
• Develop solutions that comply with PCI-DSS and payment security standards.
• Optimize performance and reliability of switching systems and backend services.
