Job summary

Orca Marketing Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced butcher to cut, trim, debone, and portion meat for our busy retail store while supporting daily operations.

Three years of butchery experience are required; supervisory or retail-store exposure is preferred. You will lead a small team and deliver excellent customer service, six days a week including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant butchery experience.
• Supervisory or retail-store experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of meat preparation and food safety.
• Able to work independently and lead a small team.
• Customer-service oriented and responsible.
• Able to work six days per week on roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, debone, portion and prepare meat according to company standards.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, hygiene and proper food handling.
• Attend to customers and provide product recommendations.
• Assist with stock ordering, inventory checks and waste control.
• Support the Store Manager in daily operations, opening and closing duties.
• Guide and train junior staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
