Job summary

SimplifyNext is a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm delivering AI-enabled transformation for public sector and enterprise clients. We seek a Senior Business Analyst to lead discovery, shape requirements, and drive full lifecycle delivery across SaaS and digital platforms.

You will work with Product Owners, Architects, and Developers to redefine processes using Generative AI and automation, ensuring measurable business impact and adoption.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of business analysis or consulting experience delivering enterprise application, SaaS or digital transformation projects.
• Proven track record across the full delivery lifecycle – discovery, design, build, test, implementation and adoption.
• Strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum, SAFe or hybrid): writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting backlog prioritisation.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills – able to run workshops with senior stakeholders and frontline users alike.
• Solid consulting toolkit: stakeholder management, problem structuring, business process re-engineering, and business case development.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted delivery tooling to accelerate analysis, documentation and quality review.
• Experience delivering for Singapore Public Sector or large enterprise clients.

Role Purpose

The Business Analyst is the bridge between business intent and delivered technology. You will lead discovery, shape requirements into a workable backlog, and stay with the solution through build, test and adoption – making sure what gets delivered actually solves the problem and gets used. This is a client-facing consulting role on live digital and AI-enabled transformation programmes, largely for Singapore Public Sector and large enterprise clients.

What You'll Own

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a client-facing consulting role driving business transformation on SaaS and digital platforms. You will:

• Lead discovery workshops to identify pain points, map user journeys, and define transformation opportunities.

2. Requirements & Agile Backlog

• Shape requirements into clear Agile user stories and product backlogs, working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Developers.

3. AI & Automation-Led Process Reimagination

• Leverage Generative AI and automation to reimagine processes, accelerate delivery, and create smarter digital workflows.

4. Full Lifecycle Delivery

• Drive projects through the full lifecycle: Discovery, Design, Build, Test, Implementation, and Adoption.

5. Business & Technology Bridge

• Act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value.
• Contribute to business process re-engineering and operating model redesign as part of SaaS- and AI-enabled transformations.

AI-Assisted Delivery

We deliver with an in-house AI workbench that pairs practitioners and AI across the lifecycle. As a BA you'll use it to:

• Refine stories and pressure-test acceptance criteria, surfacing gaps, ambiguities and dependencies early.
• Accelerate process documentation, journey maps and requirement traceability.
• Support risk-based test design and coverage analysis alongside QA.

AI accelerates the work; you own the judgement, the client relationship and the outcome.

What You'll Bring

Must-Have

• 4 – 10 years of business analysis or consulting experience delivering enterprise application, SaaS or digital transformation projects.

Good-to-Have

• Hands-on exposure to one or more of ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, OutSystems, UiPath, AWS or Databricks.
• Experience shaping requirements for agentic AI, RAG or intelligent automation solutions.
• Background in service design, journey mapping, or operating model redesign.
• Certification in Agile / Scrum (e.g. CSM, PSPO, PMI-ACP) or business analysis (e.g. CBAP).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Azure DevOps.

• You prefer writing requirements documents over sitting with users and engineers to work problems out.

• You want a pure documentation role without accountability for whether the solution lands.
