Job summary

AbbVie Singapore Biologics Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Operations Specialist to manage central services such as Buffer/Media Preparation, Autoclave, and Glasswash. You will drive manufacturing tasks using validated systems (LIMS, SAP, DeltaV) and lead a shift team to meet production plans with high safety and quality standards.

You will contribute to process improvements and regulatory readiness, mentoring staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure audit-ready plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in sciences (Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Engineering) or equivalent.
• Min 5+ years in Biologics/Pharmaceutical industry; 3+ years in central services (Buffer/Media Preparation, Autoclave, Glasswash, materials sampling).
• Experience leading a shift team is required.
• Strong problem solving, initiative, and ability to tackle complex assignments independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; proven team player; capable of working in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own central services operation area including Buffer/Media Preparation, Autoclave, Glasswash and cleaning processes.
• Plan and execute manufacturing ops using validated programs (LIMS, SAP, DeltaV, POMSnet).
• Drive process improvements and streamline procedures; resolve anomalous processing events.
• Support safety, quality records, and regulatory readiness; participate in audits.
• Represent shift in cross-functional meetings and mentor biotechnologists.
