Job summary

Beca is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Modeller – C&S to join the Building Structures team in Singapore. You will develop accurate BIM models and drawings, ensuring design coordination and model integrity for multidisciplinary projects.

Collaborate with engineers and project teams and deliver high-quality documentation. The role emphasizes independence, initiative, and contribution to BIM process improvements within a dynamic, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma in BIM / engineering diploma or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant BIM modelling experience.
• Familiar with codes, regulations and authority submission (CORENET X).
• Proficient in BIM software: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and produce structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit Structure for contract documents and coordination.
• Produce structural BIM drawings and shop drawings in line with project requirements and standards.
• Manage BIM models and shop drawings across the project lifecycle ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Identify modelling challenges and propose practical solutions; escalate when needed.
• Support preparation of authority submission drawings including CORENET X approvals.

Senior BIM Modeller – C&S

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented BIM Modeller who is passionate about learning, collaboration, and delivering high-quality engineering documentation. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and project teams to develop accurate BIM models and drawings that support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects. You will play an important role in ensuring design coordination, model integrity, and compliance with project and industry standards.

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively. Beyond producing accurate BIM models, you contribute to project success through quality assurance and continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare and produce structural BIM Models using Autodesk Revit Structure for contract documents and coordination.
• Produce structural engineering detailed drawings BIM deliverables, and shop drawings in accordance with project requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage BIM models, shop drawings throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with BIM execution plans.
• Identify technical modelling challenges and propose practical solutions, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Support the preparation of authority submission drawings, including CORENET X submissions and regulatory approvals.
• Highlight and resolve technical problems and details independently and seek advice when required.
• Work with team members and managers to meet the project deliverable and timeline.
• Participate in knowledge and information sharing with other team members.

Pre-Requisites

• Specialist Diploma in BIM /relevant engineering diploma
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling (engineering consulting environment will be an advantage)
• Familiar with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission (Corenet X) and approval procedures.
• Competent user of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork etc.
• Good written & spoken communication skills in English
• Able to work independently & exercise initiative
• Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
