Job summary

Hexacon Construction Pte Ltd is a reputable Singapore main contractor seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead coordination of Structural, Architectural, and MEP drawings and BIM models across projects. You will drive accuracy and efficiency through robust BIM management and stakeholder collaboration.

Expect to produce detailed shop and coordination drawings, manage 3D BIM models, perform clash detection, and run BIM coordination meetings to resolve design and construction issues, ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of BIM Coordinator experience.
• Preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and ISO 19650.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop, coordination, and as-built drawings for BIM coordination.
• Maintain and update project drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate BIM workflows and enforce project standards and protocols.
• Manage 3D BIM models to support design and construction processes.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts with project teams.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with architects, engineers and contractors.
• Lead regular BIM model audits and corrective actions.
• Prepare BIM progress reports for project managers and stakeholders.

Job Summary

Collaborate with project teams to deliver precise and coordinated Structural, Architectural, and MEP drawings and BIM models, driving project accuracy and efficiency through effective BIM management and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines to support project delivery
• Maintain and update the complete set of project drawings to ensure current and accurate documentation
• Coordinate BIM workflows to enforce compliance with project standards and protocols, enhancing collaboration and consistency
• Manage the creation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of 3D BIM models to support design and construction processes
• Conduct clash detection using BIM tools and resolve conflicts collaboratively with project teams to minimize design and construction issues
• Facilitate coordination among architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders through effective use of BIM technology
• Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings to identify and address design and construction challenges proactively
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models and related data by performing regular model audits and implementing corrective actions
• Prepare and submit comprehensive BIM progress reports to project managers and stakeholders to inform project status and decisions

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in operating BIM software including AutoCAD and Revit, to produce and manage project deliverables
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and protocols such as the Singapore BIM Guide and ISO 19650 to ensure compliance and quality
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a BIM Coordinator, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor, demonstrating proven expertise in BIM coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field to support technical understanding and project requirements
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple BIM tasks and documentation efficiently
• Problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective BIM-related solutions
