Job summary

SURBANA JURONG CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Singapore to lead modelling aligned with architectural intent and design updates. You will maintain architecture BIM models, provide technical BIM support, and ensure submission-ready documentation across projects.

The role requires 5+ years in BIM coordination, proficiency with BIM standards, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Training delivery and library maintenance are also involved.

Qualifications

• Specialist diploma in BIM management is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in BIM Coordination in Design/Construction/IDD projects.
• Proficient in relevant International & Singapore BIM Standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team on BIM modelling reflecting Architect’s design intent and latest updates.
• Update and maintain Architecture BIM models to align with design changes.
• Provide BIM technical support across projects, including troubleshooting and family maintenance.
• Ensure BIM documentation meets submission and tender quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects and consultants; organize coordination meetings; track design issues; generate reports.
• Assist in preparing study BIM models, model analysis, design visualizations, and recommendations.
• Document RFIs and maintain high-quality BIM deliverables.
• Maintain the office BIM library, including families and standards compliance.
• Assist in preparing training materials and delivering training sessions.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job description

• Collaborate with the project team on BIM modelling development, ensuring the BIM model accurately reflects the Architect’s design intent and incorporates the latest design updates.
• Update and maintain Architecture BIM models, ensuring they align with the most recent design changes.
• Provide proficient BIM technical support for office-wide projects, including troubleshooting, BIM model assistance, documentation support, and family creation/maintenance for projects. Ensure final documentation follows submission and tender quality standards.
• Understand Singapore’s BIM submission requirements and assist the team in updating BIM documentation to meet these standards.
• Coordinate with architects and consultants from other disciplines, including organizing coordination meetings and tracking design issues within the BIM model. Generate reports based on project requirements or instructions and assist with BIM interface checking and clash detection.
• Support the team in preparing study BIM models, performing model analysis, creating design visualizations, and providing recommendations based on design changes.
• Ensure proper documentation of issues, Requests for Information (RFIs), and maintain high-quality standards for BIM model deliverables.
• Maintain and develop the office-wide BIM library, including family maintenance, category and filter management, and new family creation based on Singapore's building code. Manage BIM material libraries and ensure compliance with office and project-specific BIM standards.
• Under direction, assist in preparing training materials and delivering general and ad-hoc training sessions to both architectural and technical teams.
• Perform other project-related duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Specialist diploma in BIM management
• Minimum 5 years' experience in BIM Coordination in Design Engineering/ Construction Engineering/ IDD Project Management.
• Proficient in relevant International & Singapore Local BIM Standards.
• Proven experience in leading/coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects.
