Gaia Chinese Culinary Pte Ltd seeks a skilled bartender to lead daily bar operations near Bras Basah and City Hall, guiding the team to maintain high beverage standards and service quality.
You will apply advanced mixology skills to create cocktails, train staff, and ensure optimal inventory control while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This position will report to the Wine Sommelier/ Restaurant Manager
The working location is within walking distance from Bras Basah MRT station and City Hall MRT station
Lead daily bar operations including opening, closing, and maintaining service standards during shifts
Train and guide team members to ensure consistent beverage preparation and service quality
Develop, implement, and improve bar SOPs and service standards continuously
Prepare operational reports and elevate inventory variances, wastage, and operational issues to management
Apply advanced mixology skills to create and recommend cocktails that meet high standards of taste and presentation
Consistently maintain high standards in beverage preparation, presentation, and taste
Provide exceptional service by preparing and serving drinks that enhance customer satisfaction
Engage guests to understand preferences and offer tailored beverage recommendations
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the beverage menu and products to support excellent service
Handle transactions accurately and maintain an inviting bar environment to improve guest experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area in compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Any other duties as assigned
2-3 years of relevant experience
Independent and creative in terms of creating and improving the range of bar drinks
Extensive knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques
Comfortable with flexible work hours including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
