Job summary

HUGGS COFFEE PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive cafe operations leader to oversee a single cafe outlet, ensuring top-level product quality and service. You will guide front- and back-of-house teams, implement training, and drive budget strategies.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and cost optimization within a fast-paced F&B environment. Applicants should have diploma or higher and at least two years in F&B management.

• Minimum 2 years of F&B management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operation team across the assigned cafe outlet to deliver high-quality product and service in line with company strategy.
• Provide professional training and guidance on hard skills for all baristas to the company standard.
• Develop and direct the budget planning strategy, goals and cost-saving practices.
• Provide leadership to the operations team and cafe managers on service, organization and cost issues.
• Research market requirements and trends in F&B, proposing improvements to meet company goals and profits.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by superiors.

JOB SUMMARY

• You will be responsible for the success of the outlet and oversee our cafe operations outlet.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

• Lead and manage operation team, front and back-of-house staffs across the assigned cafe outlet to deliver high level of product and service excellence in accordance with the company’s strategic.
• Provide professional training and guidance on hard skills for all barista with company’s standard.
• Develop and direct company’s overall budget planning strategy, goals and cost saving practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to operation team and cafe managers on addressing the service, organisation and cost issues.
• Research and develop opportunities and plans, understanding market requirements, identify market trends in F&B, and suggest improvements to achieve the company's goals and profits.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by immediate superiors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or higher
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant knowledge of F&B management, systems and procedures
• Resilient and able to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical abilities, highly driven with strong work ethic, personal integrity and excellent leadership qualities.
• Food Safety Course Level 1
