Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale banking transformation spanning core banking, credit risk, finance, and regulatory reporting systems.

You will gather requirements through workshops, perform gap analyses, define data mappings, and coordinate migration, testing, and user acceptance activities. The role requires strong communication across stakeholders and a deep understanding of credit risk and Basel/regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, including limits, collateral management, and counterparty risk.
• Good understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks, Basel and local requirements.
• Knowledge of accounting processes, general ledger structures, and liquidity management.
• Solid understanding of core banking products and processes.
• Experience across the complete IT project lifecycle, including requirements analysis and testing.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and consolidate business requirements through workshops with finance, risk, regulatory, and technology stakeholders.
• Perform impact assessments and gap analyses across applications, processes, data flows, and interfaces.
• Define data mappings and ensure requirements comply with business and regulatory expectations.
• Prepare detailed business requirements, functional specs, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
• Plan and coordinate migration, testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Manage the requirements backlog and track system transformations and adaptations.
• Identify delivery risks and bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Coordinate deliverables across teams and obtain stakeholder validation.
• Support the full project lifecycle from analysis to production transition.
