Job summary

ALMR Business Consulting Group PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Product Specialist – FX to lead research, development and enhancement of FX product propositions within a Transaction Banking environment.

You will translate corporate customer needs into marketable FX solutions, conduct benchmarking, and partner with Treasury, Operations, Risk and Technology to shape the product roadmap and drive successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Transaction Banking, FX or related banking functions.
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange in corporate/Transaction Banking environment.
• Experience in product development, product management or strategy.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Product Specialist – FX to support product research, development and enhancement within a Transaction Banking environment. The role will focus on understanding corporate customer needs, identifying market opportunities and developing FX product propositions while working with internal stakeholders across Product, Treasury, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Research FX market trends, customer needs and competitor offerings.
• Identify product gaps, enhancement opportunities and new FX propositions.
• Develop FX product concepts based on business and customer requirements.
• Analyse FX opportunities across conversion, cross-border payments, multi-currency services, pricing and execution channels.
• Conduct market and competitor benchmarking.
• Translate customer requirements into practical product propositions.
• Prepare product proposals, business cases and supporting materials.
• Work with Relationship Management, Transaction Banking, Treasury/Markets, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Technology teams.
• Support product roadmap, approval, implementation and launch activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Transaction Banking, FX, Corporate Banking Product, Treasury Product or related banking functions.
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange in a corporate/Transaction Banking environment.
• Experience in product development, product management, product strategy or banking product solutioning.
• Good understanding of currency pairs, exchange rates, FX pricing, cross-border transactions and settlement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in market research, competitor analysis or product benchmarking.
• Advantage: Knowledge of FX Spot, Forward, Swap/NDF, digital FX channels and FX products integrated with payments or cash management.
