Job summary

Unison Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced DevOps / Test Automation Engineer - Banking to lead end-to-end delivery, architecture design, and operations across retail and corporate banking domains for tier-1 clients.

You will design scalable pipelines, automate deployments, run rigorous tests, and resolve production issues, collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and business analysts in a fast-paced fintech consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional software engineering and technical delivery experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong technical proficiency and hands-on operational mastery of modern frameworks, tools, and enterprise technologies.
• Proven background in enterprise solution delivery, system configuration, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities, root-cause troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities in multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust enterprise systems and digital solutions tailored for banking clients.
• Spearhead technical implementation, architecture planning, and performance optimization across core operational domains.
• Collaborate proactively with software engineers, data architects, QA testers, and business stakeholders.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain high-availability environments, deployment pipelines, or analytical models.
• Execute rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and automated test execution to guarantee software quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects, performance bottlenecks, and concurrency issues in production.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture blueprints, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate coding standards, data privacy regulations, and monetary authority guidelines in Singapore.
• Participate in agile sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and architectural review board sessions.
• Coordinate project deliverables and technical roadmaps with cross-functional delivery squads.
