Job summary

You will develop Python scripts, investigate test scenarios hands-on, and maintain the integration environment, test artifacts, and automation framework to improve reporting and reliability.

The role requires 6+ years in backend QA, strong UNIX/Linux skills, and scripting in Java, Python, Bash or PHP to test APIs and distributed services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience.
• Full cycle testing from design to execution.
• Strong UNIX/Linux experience.
• Scripting in Java, Python, Bash, or PHP.
• Experience testing APIs, databases, and distributed services.
• Proactive mindset with appetite for root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare integration test scenarios for unreleased features and changes.
• Conduct hands-on investigation and validation of test scenarios.
• Develop scripted Python tests for integration scenarios.
• Identify deficiencies in existing scripts and implement improvements.
• Maintain integration test environment and artifacts.
• Enhance the integration framework to improve automation and reporting.
• Develop scripting tools to run RESTful API test cases
