Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
8+ years of software development experience, preferably backend or distributed systems.
Proficient in core Java and familiar with Spring framework.
Proficient in MySQL, and familiar with at least one NoSQL DB.
Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging system.
Capable of coping with stress and quick to learn new knowledge.
Good cross-team communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design major aspects of application architecture including UI, middleware and infrastructure.
Ensure uniform enterprise-wide application design standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.
Develop plans for new or existing applications.
Lead the development team and supervise design, testing and modifications.
Demonstrate prototypes and integrate user feedback.
Write scripts and code, install and update applications.
Mentor junior developers and provide user support.
Run diagnostic tests and debugging procedures.
Perform integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
Document development processes and standards.
Incorporate trends in architecture into projects.
