Job summary

Capgemini Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java-focused developer to analyze, develop, and test scalable applications across ecommerce, internet banking, and mobile banking projects.

You will apply agile practices to deliver robust microservices and contribute to continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. You will design microservices with Camel, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and Maven, and write comprehensive unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMockito,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in Java-based applications.
• Experience delivering microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA.
• Hands-on with TDD/XP practices and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and test Java-based applications using Core Java, J2EE, MVC.
• Deliver end-to-end app development for ecommerce and banking projects.
• Design microservices architecture using Camel, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Maven.
• Write unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMockito; ensure code quality via SonarQube.
• Manage SDLC phases from requirements through production support.
• Use Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory for CI/CD and artifact management.
• Write and execute Splunk queries to monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply Agile methodologies to foster iterative delivery and improvement.
• Collaborate effectively while working independently when needed.
