Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Software System Engineer (Back Office System) to join the back-office development team and modernise the AFC backend for Singapore's public transport network. You will design, migrate, build, test, deploy and support secure applications on AWS in the GCC government cloud, learning business processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

At least three years of software development experience, including one full SDLC and preparation of related documentation.
Hands-on development and support of Java applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Experience with AWS services such as Amazon EKS, DynamoDB and RDS.

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements, design, develop, test and maintain the applications.
Prepare and maintain software lifecycle deliverables, including requirements, software architecture and design documents, interface specifications, source code, testing specifications, operations and maintenance manuals and other documentation.
Troubleshoot production and test-environment issues, investigate defects and improve application quality and performance.
Collaborate with other developers, users and testers to clarify requirements and resolve design or testing issues.
