Job summary

Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking a Software System Engineer (Back Office System) to modernise the AFC backend, design, migrate, build, test, deploy and support secure applications on AWS in the GCC environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, resolve issues and contribute to mission-critical systems handling high-volume transactions.

Qualifications

• At least three years of software development experience with full SDLC and documentation.
• Hands-on development and support of Java applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS services (EKS, DynamoDB, RDS) and cloud deployment in GCC environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, design, develop, test and maintain the applications.
• Prepare and maintain software lifecycle deliverables, including documentation and interface specifications.
• Troubleshoot production and test-environment issues and improve application quality and performance.
• Collaborate with other developers, users and testers to resolve design or testing issues.
