Job summary

Good co India is seeking a seasoned Backend Architect to design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise backend systems. You will guide architecture decisions across teams and ensure best practices in CI/CD, cloud, and security.

Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, Python, Go, Node.js, or .NET Core, and expertise in microservices, REST/GraphQL, and distributed systems are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field required.
• 5–10 years of backend development or software architecture experience.
• Strong design and implementation skills for microservices, APIs, and data models.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and API security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure backend architectures for enterprise applications.
• Define system architecture, microservices, APIs, and data design.
• Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services; enable event-driven patterns.
• Lead distributed systems design for scalability, reliability, and high availability.
• Mentor teams and drive engineering excellence across projects.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native deployment.
