TikTok Shop governance team is seeking an experienced engineer to own the architecture and technical direction of a sub-domain, balancing business delivery with platform reliability. You will shape long-term evolution, de-risk complex scenarios, and drive cross-region projects while leveraging AI coding tools to improve workflows.

The role requires strong distributed-systems knowledge, ownership of core platforms, and collaboration with global teams to build secure, scalable, and efficient

Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce, B2B or complex business platforms, with multiple roles and workflows.
• Experience as owner of a core system or critical platform capability.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python or Java, with solid knowledge of data structures and design patterns.
• Familiarity with highly available, high-concurrency distributed systems and middleware.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and integration into engineering work.
