Job summary

Fractional Services Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI/data platform initiatives on a 1-year contract in Singapore.

You will design and operate scalable Azure-based solutions, implement IaC, manage CI/CD and security, and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams. Required expertise includes Azure platform services, networking, security, observability, Kafka/Confluent, and Azure Databricks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps or enterprise platform operations.
• At least 5 years hands-on with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps and IaC practices.
• Experience implementing DevOps, DevSecOps, monitoring and operational reliability in production.
• Experience supporting production AI, analytics or data platform workloads.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience working with multiple vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.

Required Experience

• Microsoft Azure Platform Services
• Azure Networking, Connectivity and Security
• Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and platform governance controls

• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevSecOps practices
• Platform Observability, Monitoring, Alerting and Incident Management
• API Management and API Security
• Data Integration and Streaming Architectures (e.g. Kafka, Confluent, Azure Event Hubs)
• Microsoft Foundry and AI Platform Services
• Possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps or enterprise platform operations.
• Possess at least 5 years' hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrate experience supporting enterprise‑scale data and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrate hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Demonstrate experience implementing DevOps, DevSecOps, monitoring and operational reliability practices in production environments.
• Demonstrate experience supporting production AI, analytics or data platform workloads.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, incident management and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrate experience working with multiple vendors and cross‑functional delivery teams.
