Job summary

Moove is seeking an AV Tech 2 to advance hardware, software, and diagnostic operations on autonomous vehicle platforms. This role builds on AV Tech 1, demanding independence, precision, and strict safety/compliance to keep vehicles launch-ready for rider-only service.

You will perform complex component removals, manage bootups and software updates, and document faults in knowledge systems. A strong background in automotive electronics and safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in automotive or aerospace maintenance focused on complex electronic systems.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in Automotive Technology, Electronics, or Robotics preferred.
• ASE A6 (Electrical) and L3 (Hybrid/EV) certifications preferred.
• Expert-level R&R of onboard compute hardware, camera systems, and integrated sensing components.
• Ability to perform advanced component removals and battery-related R&R tasks without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced removal and replacement of system components.
• Perform precision swaps for radar sensors and inertial measurement units.
• Oversee startup, bootup, and software loading procedures for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Manage installation and extraction of onboard data logging hardware to ensure data capture.
• Conduct initial network triage to diagnose system flow and resolve communication faults.
