Job summary

KIM YEW INTEGRATED PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an AV/VC Technician responsible for setting up PA, AV, and VC systems; servicing and maintaining equipment; coordinating event setups and ensuring smooth operations during events.

The role requires a Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Communication or electronics, at least four years of related experience; strong communication skills and experience with large-scale events or hotels; 5.5-day work week; Singaporean only.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Nitec / Higher Nitec qualification or Diploma in Electrical / Communication or electronics engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Set- up of PA / AV / VC systems and equipment; service, troubleshoot and maintenance of the systems and equipment.
• Prepare and schedule time for events; participate in set up and ensure smooth operations of events.
• Ensure safety and compliance in AV storage area.
• Coordinate with contractor to repair the system if required.
• Carry out routine checks on AV and VC systems to ensure working condition; priority checks for Auditorium and meeting rooms during major events.
• Attend to requests/queries, feedback and complaints pertaining to AV and VC systems and equipment.
• Provide technical advice and operational support for audio-visual requirements.
• Respond to faults detected during servicing and rectify them.
• Liaise with event organizers on logistics support and event set up requirements.
• Assist in general maintenance of the building; training can be provided.
