Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Cypress) to build reliable automation for web and API flows supporting financial supervision use cases.

You will work in an agile team to strengthen test coverage, validate batch jobs and data in Oracle, and assist release cutovers with go/no-go signals. You will develop UI test automation with Cypress or Watermelon, collaborate with engineers and QA, and run automated suites while triaging failures and raising actionable defects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building UI test automation with Cypress or Watermelon.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or Python for test development and maintenance.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger and related validation approaches.
• Experience with Oracle database validation including SQL-based checks.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD such as Git and Jenkins.
• Understanding of testing practices, defect management and quality risk assessment.

Responsibilities
