Job summary

APPLIED ANGSTROM TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Automation Program Engineer to develop automation and machine control systems for semiconductor equipment (FEOL). You will partner with hardware/electrical/system control engineers in system validation and product integration.

The role requires hands-on PLC programming (Beckhoff TwinCAT3), PC programming (C/C++/C#), and Python is a plus. Experience with sensors, actuators, gas valves and SECS/GEM is advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of equipment motion controlling/automation application and system integration experience in a semiconductor equipment company.
• Experienced in PLC programming – Beckhoff TwinCAT3, Omron, AdeptACE, etc.
• Experienced in PC programming (C/C++/C#).
• Knowledge of Industrial Standards, Safety Standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial automation-SECS/GEM is a plus.
• Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is required, FEOL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation/machine controlling system for our process equipment; good command of PLC programming, C/C++/C# programming is required; Python is a plus.

• Cooperate with other engineers to complete equipment automation and integrate hardware with software where users can control the equipment.

The Automation Program Engineer will playa main rolein developingthe automationsystems for new semiconductor manufacturing equipment(FEOL). At this role, you will partner with other hardware engineer/electrical engineer/system controlengineersin system validation.
